We Got Featured on Xanga!!!: Shout-outs and Junk and Stuff
It might seem like a blip on the radar, but for a young site like us, every success is important. So congratulations of the highest order go to Andrew for his post "Games Only You (or Your Mother) Could Love," which has received over 5000 views and certainly qualifies as Post of the Week! Andy also gets bonus points for landing us a honest-to-goodness interview with Casey Schreiner of G4 fame. Muchas gracias to all who made the whole shebang posible.
So, yes, Andrew was all kinds of awesome this week. But let the other achievements of HardestLevel be recognized, to the tune of the Final Fantasy victory music:
* Kudos to brainandpinky for their post on Sims 3. The post has over 1000 views, but even if it had only three, I would still applaud animated girls kissing.
* A congratulatory chest-bump (which is executed awkwardly because, well, we're nerds, right?) to Jim for his post on video game villains. Bowser got straight rooked on that countdown, for sure.
* Mad props to Dan for his piece on video game music. Music is an essential part of video games that often is overlooked. A worthy subject indeed, sir!
* A solid effort from trynstopme for his entry on economic gaming(?) too. Welcome to the main page, Chris!
* Last but certainly least, I would commend the man who wrote the piece on a WoW-based wedding, but I hear he's a colossal jerk.

All in all, a fine week for HL. We've got a new writer on staff, Tim. Make sure to send some eProps his way. We also had a tribute to the King of Pop and a question on what the best game of 2009 is so far, so if you haven't checked them out, please do so and comment. Otherwise, I'll be forced to give the award for Best Game to Leisure Suit Larry Box Office Bust, and nobody wants that.
One final note left over from last recap: I'd like to acknowledge Matt's hard work on helping to compile the list of geek pick-up lines that went over so well last week. He's providing a lot of content for this site, so let's show him some love for his efforts, shall we?
Stay classy, HardestLevel.

Great achievements, but isn't HardestLevel just another part of Xanga?
@AlterEgo909@xanga - Yes, it is a sister site, but we don't get automatically featured front and center on the main page. Andrew's post is actually the first featured post we've had in a while.
