Do You Osu!?
Do you like Queen? Phoenix Wright? Do you like rhythm games even the teeniest bit? Watch this.
osu! is a free rhythm game for PC with hundreds of fan-made songs to play in different levels of difficulty. I love rhythm games, from DDR to Beatmania and DJ Max, and I found many songs to be fairly challenging, but a lot of fun. This is definitely a game that you need a mouse for, so laptop users who only use the touch pad need not apply. There are songs from all different genres and several languages, but the most plentiful are songs from different anime series and those from Vocaloid characters.
Decided to take the plunge? The following are some of my favorite songs to work you from beginner onwards.
- Queen - Don't Stop Me Now: The song from the video up above.
- Ren and Lin Kagamine - Cantarella: A good beginner song featuring Vocaloid characters.
- K-ON! - Fuwa Fuwa Time: Harder difficulties are rather difficult, but has a good difficulty level for beginners.
- Hatsune Miku - Black Rock Shooter: This song is ROUGH! Once I finished it for the first time, it became one of my favorites.
- Girls Generation - Genie: Difficult but fun.
- Lucky Star - Kumikyoku 'Lucky Star Douga': 15 minutes of Lucky Star songs put into one megamix. Not for the faint of heart.
Have you tried out osu!? What are some of your favorite songs?

HELL YEAH, K-ON TRACKS!!! =]
@KristInRainbows@xanga - People have made beatmaps for most of the K-On! songs, I think. It's pretty cool :D
I've never played EBA or PW. But I love Queen and DDR. Thanks for the video. It rocked.
Osu! Tatakae!! OUENDAN!!!
Played both EBA and the JP version and loved it. I'm not sure how well it'll translate to the PC, but....I'm about to go find out!
