There are few joys in life more pure than driving a car into a school bus at three times the speed limit with no legal repercussions and no injuries to any of the drivers or passengers involved. Such is the nature of Cruis'n USA, a blessed game best played in arcades for the authentic (well, sort of) feel of being behind the wheel. From the preponderance of races in California to the inexplicable appearance of Mount Rushmore in the Grand Canyon race to the post-race shimmy-shake of the trophy girl, this game is a wild ride and a proud, reckless part of my past. You know how it goes, HL-ers...
