Oh Look, a Dating Sim Girl Baked You a Cake
Jealous that Sal9000 is the only one that can have some quality time with a Love Plus character? Fret no more, because if you're in Japan right now, you can get in on the "Love Plus Merry Plusmas Campaign" and get a cute little cake from your favorite girl.

I'll have the one on the left. Chocolate! Though the one on the right does look interesting...

Three bakeries in Tokyo participated, and male (and female!) fans of Love Plus lined up to get their own little cakes.

I hope they're not all out of Nene cakes by the time I get to the store!

The cakes also came with an AR card that when you use it, you get to see your favorite character in a Santa outfit giving you a gift. Aww.

While I am all up for video games and food combining in tasty ways, It's kind of weird to see that many people lining up for something having to do with a dating sim. However, Love Plus is a HUGE DEAL in Japan, from what I hear, so maybe it's not so crazy. Sometimes I wish they'd translate these things just so I can play one sometime.

But Evolution takes place eventually, and as I remember, The Nintendo DS does not come with a spare pair of genitals, nor sperm or ovaries.
In other words, their genes die with them.
But what I would propose to be more interesting...the lonely people. Consider that Japan is one of the most crowded places in the world, and yet, there are so many people that are lonely, so lonely as to resort to video games for marriage.

Anyone think its strange that most of the Anime characters look like they are about 12, with a huge set of boobs pasted on them? Makes you wonder if they are a bunch of pedos....much fun has been made of Barbie over the years, with her long legs and voluminous bustline...how much more twisted are the anime girls, who in reality would be about 6' tall. You ever see Asian chicks 6' tall? And waiting in line for a cake from a cartoon character? You suppose they do that with Mickey or Goofy over at Disneyland? Hmmm...deserves a disturbing WTF....

In my opinion, it's not all that different than people in America lining up for an iphone or the new GTA game. Not that I would necessarily do that, but I don't think everyone needs to jump up and judge these people for wanting something (it doesn't necessarily make them sad lonely or weird).
