I do so honestly swear to keep the gamer in me happy by doing my best to attempt to complete the tasks below before the end of the new year 2010:
Get a good paying coop science lab job or something so I can get my hands on a Playstation 3 (I’ve been converted! The Xbox 360 is no longer on my wishlist :D).
With said PS3, try out Dante’s Inferno, God of War III, and Final Fantasy XIII when they get released next year.
Finish God of War II for the Playstation 2, then backtrack and play God of War I.
Get with the program and finally play “The World Ends With You” and “Chrono Trigger” for the DS.
Continue my task of trying to complete every numerical Final Fantasy released in the US (except FFXI because I’m not particularly too fond of online games).
Do a thorough replay of Final Fantasy I & II.
Find another Playstation copy of Final Fantasy V and do a play through of it.
Buy and beat the Final Fantasy IV remake for the DS.
I’m sorry if the list sounds familiar. I tend to rant about doing these gaming tasks constantly, but I never do (school’s always got me tangled up so that I cannot enjoy gaming goodness!). For shaaammee!
Any of you have any gaming resolutions? Or does it takes out the fun to set goals in video games?

I can toast to this list. I completely agree with you in finding and beating all of the numerical Final Fantasies. I would also like to beat any game I just gave up on in the middle because it pissed me off or I got a better game.
I can toast to this list.
good luck with getting the ps3! It's great :D
I agree also that this list is golden, I would like for next year to have a dragon quest 8 game on the playstation 3. Maybe a new version of it on 3d www.adsensectc.com
Disappointed to not see Bayonetta on this list :P
I think I'll do Cave Story.
@NoHeroesForTomorrow@xanga - i know. i'd just let her walk all the time in the game. man that girl can walk. haha
@LiLaZnRuBiE@xanga - she CAN. you know bayonetta is gonna be an overall good game because it even makes walking an enjoyable experience. Not many games can brag about that. If anything, people would say "screw walking, just generic run". Walking in rpgs are practically useless. But in bayonetta, walking is awesome.
At least one game of Street Fighter and/or Chess every day.
Let's see
Finish my 1000/1000 achievement playthrough for Tales of Vesperia, kinda put that aside for Phantasy Star Universe @_@
Play more Rock Band. The only thing stopping me has been lacking batteries.
I dunno, I don't think I like having my video games to be goal-oriented. I guess that makes them feel like it's something necessary, rather than just something for fun, which makes it all the harder to do.
once you get said job you probably won't have time to do all this. but good luck anyway.
I am going to beat EVERY final fantasy this year (excluding 13, because alas, I have no PS3, and those not released in the US).
Final Fantasy 13 is also being released for the 360. o.O
@ashlyinwonderland@xanga - Thank you :)! I also like to beat any game I have ever bought and started, mostly for the sake of completion and accomplishment, if not just for enjoyment.
@black_lie@xanga - Thanks! I saw my sister's, and it looked so good! Plus, I like a lot of the games coming out for it :)
@NoHeroesForTomorrow@xanga - Haha. Yea my one friend showed me the trailer recently, after I composed the list. I must admit it does look amazing :D
@Murazrai@xanga - I think I remember watching a friend play Cave Story on his computer. Is it the one where one of the bosses looks like a pixelated lunch box?
@FoolishFudd@xanga - YAY Street Fighter :) Any particular one you intend to play daily?
@Nevando - I can see where you're coming from. No one likes to do something when its like more of a chore to do.
@HollowTendencies@xanga - I suppose you are right, but it's only a 6 month coop job, and I'll still have the "luxury" of living in a dorm haha. I guess what I thought was I'd have 9-4 to work and then the rest of the night to unwind; unlike during the school term, I'm bogged down with homework & studying & labs :D.
@MasterShoe11@xanga - Me too! That's why I need a PS3 haha. But as @Shirotori@xanga said, Final Fantasy XIII is now available on the 360...well in the States it will be in a few months haha.
@animaeariesgirl@xanga - Yeah, but I don't call that lunch box. It rather shaped like a toaster to me.
Beat every game I own that I have started but havent beaten before I get new ones.
Wut?
That didn't fool you either?
Damn... lol (I'm gonna cave with Dante's Inferno comes out, I kno it lol)
@NoHeroesForTomorrow@xanga - forreal! the early FF games, i'm like, ughhh why is there a button for running?
@animaeariesgirl@xanga - I know! I feel empty inside if I don't finish a game.
@animaeariesgirl@xanga - I'd like to focus mostly on Super Turbo and HD Remix. But if Super SFIV turns out to be good, then why not?
ahhhhhhhhhh
i wanna buy FFXIII with the special FFXIII edition playstation 3 (((( ;゚Д゚)))
im just crazy about FF (ΘεΘ;)
@animaeariesgirl@xanga - Oh, that's interesting... I'm not really a fan of playing games on different consoles than they are intended for, but this might be a good option. Anyway, good luck with your Final Fantasying. :)
CHRONO TRIGGER!!! Truly my favorite game of all time.
General order number 1, get Star Trek online on the Xbox 360.
You should try getting Bayonetta, it's intense ;)
Bioshock 2 big daddy ;D Put it on your list, it's a must.
